Announcement: Charity fundraiser: Heat. Light. Support for Ukraine, February-March
For many people in Ukraine, electricity and heating remain uncertain. Power cuts and damaged infrastructure affect everyday life, especially for the most vulnerable. February 24 marks the fourth anniversary of the start of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine. On this day, we come together to support those who continue to live with its consequences.
This fundraiser is launched in response to multiple requests from members and friends of our community who asked how we could help Ukraine in a concrete and meaningful way.
With this fundraiser, our association is collecting donations to support:
- Kindergartens, which need power stations and generators to keep rooms warm and food refrigerated
- Medical facilities, which rely on stable electricity and heating to provide care
- Animal shelters, which urgently need blankets, heating, and basic supplies
We are working directly with trusted partners and facilities in Ukraine, where the need for aforementioned items is immediate and severe. As an association with close and long-standing ties to Ukraine, we know the local context and can ensure that donations are used efficiently and that purchased items are delivered and distributed where they are most urgently needed.
Every contribution helps us purchase concrete items such as generators, power stations, heaters, and warm supplies. Throughout the campaign, we will share regular updates on what has been purchased and where the support has arrived.
