Announcement: Movie Screening "MYR. Ty [Romantyka]", June 20

MYR. Ty [Romantyka] in cinema is the first historical musical in cinema.

The film takes the viewer into the heart of a musical dedicated to the artists of the Executed Renaissance. The story centers on the life and work of Ukrainian writers of the 1920s and 1930s: Pavlo Tychyna, Volodymyr Sosyura, Les Kurbas, Mykola Khvylovyi, and Mykhailo Semenko. They finally appear to the viewer as real people, not names from textbooks. Each scene is a kind of poetic and musical capsule that immerses the viewer in the inner world of the characters: from desperate love to the struggle with their own fears and compromises.The film demonstrates the performance in its stage form, with an emphasis on cinematic dynamics: the use of close-ups, changes in angles, and focus on details that enhance the emotional impact of the theater performance. The editing adds new rhythms, but retains the authenticity and atmosphere of a live performance.
