Announcement: Ukraїner. The Movie

We are glad to announce: on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine, we prepared the screening of Ukraїner. The Movie!

Ukraїner is a community and an organization that has been researching Ukraine and the Ukrainian context since 2016, telling stories to Ukrainian audiences and broadcasting them to the world in dozens of languages.

Ukraїner. The Movie premiered in 2019 simultaneously in 7 different countries. It represents a weekday of the whole country, a documentary narration that tells the story of the unknown to a broad audience, jobs and contradictions in each characters’ lives appealing to the wide circle of the audience not just in Ukraine but abroad as well.

With this film we'd like to remind you (and show those who did not know) that Ukraine is an unusual country created by unusual people.
