Announcement: Varenyky Workshop, December 9

We’re happy to announce our upcoming Varenyky Workshop!

A cozy winter evening of cooking, chatting, and sharing Ukrainian culinary traditions awaits in Turmküche (KOL-K-2) at the UZH main building.
(Detailed directions will be posted in our Instagram Stories on the event day.)

The workshop will be held together with invited cooks from @ukrlawka — expect delicious tips, fun techniques, and plenty of friendly flour-covered moments 🥟💛

Here’s what we’ll be making:
— Classic potato & onion varenyky
— Soft cheese & dill varenyky

We’ll also share a short background story about varenyky — a dish that carries warmth, memory, and a sense of home.

📝 Please register via the Google form so we can prepare enough ingredients. The number of participants is limited.

UASAZ members have priority until December 4. After this date, remaining spots will also be offered to non-members in the order of registration.

Final registration deadline: December 7.

This event is organized by the Ukrainian Association of Students and Academics in Zurich, in collaboration with @ukrlawka (Ukrainian frozen specialties in Switzerland).
