Lecture “Environmental consequences of the war in Ukraine: local and global perspective“ by Dr. Olena Melnyk

Ukraine is currently experiencing a catastrophic ecological situation because of Russia’s aggressive war. This ecocide includes soil, water, and air contamination, as well as loss of biodiversity, and has a strong long-term influence not only for Ukraine but for the whole world. We were proud to host the lecture “Environmental consequences of the war in Ukraine: local and global perspective“ conducted by an experienced researcher Dr. Olena Melnyk who analyzed the consequences of the ecocide. After a very thought-provoking Q&A session, everyone could enjoy apéro.

Thank you all for coming and stay tuned for the next lectures on significant topics!
